Santa & Mrs. Claus visited Cora Shadle Park on December 9th. They invited everyone to stop by to get a picture taken with Santa while Mrs. Claus helped kids decorate a cookie to take home. The shelter house was decorated, and those that attended were able to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee courtesy of Smokey Row.

Santa & Mrs. Claus visited Cora Shadle Park on December 14th. They invited everyone to stop by to get a picture taken with Santa while Mrs. Claus and the elves helped kids decorate a cookie to take home. The shelter house was fully decorated for Christmas. Everyone that attended was able to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee, courtesy of Smokey Row, and listened to musicians and carolers from our local churches sing holiday favorites!

The Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children pre-K through 5th grade was held on Saturday, March 31st at 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasantville Soccer Field.

The Easter Bunny was busy hiding eggs in Pleasantville just for teens the week of March 26th! He knew the teens wanted more than just candy filled eggs, so this year’s prizes included gift cards from Checkerboard, Smokey Row, Casey’s, Dollar General Store, and more!

Teens in grades 7th through 12th participated in their own hunt throughout the week, which began on Monday, March 21st and ended on Saturday, March 26th.
