The Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, educational, industrial, professional, cultural, and civil well being of the Pleasantville area. We encourage the growth of existing businesses while giving assistance to any new individuals seeking to locate in the area. The Chamber supports all those activities believed to be beneficial to the community and promotes the well being of all area citizens.

The Chamber is governed by a nine member Board of Directors. Seven of the members serve for a period of three years. The other two members shall be the Mayor of the City of Pleasantville and the Superintendent of Pleasantville Community Schools (or their designees).

Officers of the Board are elected by the directors, and serve one year terms. The term of the office becomes effective on the first day of May. The Executive committee consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director.
