United We Stand as Heroes and Volunteers

Begin your July 4th celebration at 7:00 a.m with breakfast at the Masonic Lodge in downtown Pleasantville. At 8:15 a.m., the American Legion will hold a flag raising ceremony in front of the Memorial Hall. You won’t want to miss the 21-gun salute, singing of our National Anthem, and special guest speaker, Colonel Sara Phoenix.

After the flag raising, enjoy a pet show, parade, lunch at the Methodist Church, a presentation by the Star-Spangled Banner Squad at the high school, and activities for all ages at the Cora Shadle Memorial Park, and much more! After sundown, watch fireworks in the evening provided by Pleasantville Emergency Services.
